Having over 30 years’ experience in the insurance repair sector and having successfully built 2 retirement Villages we understand the impact the process has to all stake holders and have focused our model on minimizing the impact and stress which these parties are exposed to.
Working in someone’s home whilst occupied can be a stressful process for the occupant. Our qualified team consisting of customer service and admin specialists, Estimators, Supervisor and highly skilled tradesmen are here to make the process as easy and stress free as possible, we work in with owner to ensure repairs are carried out with no surprises whilst maintaining complete transparency and crystal-clear communication lines at all time to give the occupant complete comfort and remain at ease through the process.
We respect that retiaries have earnt their retirement and don’t need to be inconvenienced. Therefore, our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our reliable on call service are proficient in providing a resolution to any issues that may arise out of business. Customer satisfaction is our focus.
New Build / Repair Process
Our Process during refurbishment in our Villages is very Simple and pain free. We find our Communities love to get involved and Help with the process.
1. Inspection & assessment
An RPF Estimator will contact the home owner / tenant within 24 hours of the request being received. An appointment time will be confirmed for the inspection & assessment to be carried out.
2. Quote submission
Once the inspection has taken place a quote and photo report will be finalised and submitted through to the customer. When working on contractual rates a quote is still provided all parties with a clear scope of works and bill of quantities.
On receipt of authority to proceed RPF will communicate with the owner or authorised representative to initiate the signing of any relevant contracts required by local legislation.
4. Repair review
On receipt of all required signed contracts, documents etc an RPF Supervisor will review the works required and commence communications with the customer to confirm repair schedule.
5. Commence repairs
Our Supervisor will arrange the relevant RPF tradesman or sub-contractors to attend site and commence repairs. Throughout the entire repair process, all parties have access to contact the Supervisor as well as a Customer Service Manager (CSM) to answer any queries or concerns raised throughout the repair process.
6. Final inspection
In addition to regular site supervision throughout repairs, RPF insist that a detailed final inspection take place on all repairs to ensure that repairs are carried out to a high standard. The customer will be supplied with a Customer Satisfaction Form (CSF) which provides an opportunity to provide feedback on RPF’s performance. This form is optional and proves to be a fantastic tool in maintaining our level of service to the customer.
Upon the above steps all being completed, the job becomes complete. We pride ourselves on our respectful, proficient and focused approach, causing as little disruption as possible to daily life. On completion and final sign off, works are reconciled and invoiced.

The construction of Cumberland Glen was completed by RPF Building in 2017 forms part of the Cumberland Villages group. Cumberland Glen is a vibrant over 55s community with 36 independent units located in beautiful Newcastle. This development was successfully managed by the in-house developments team at RPF Building. It was delivered on time and within budget.
Glen Haven Retirement Village located in South Mackay.
Was a full refurbishment of 29 independent living units. RPF were engaged by Suncorp insurance after the devastating flood in 2010. The entire Village was inundated with 500mm of flood water. Team RPFs scope was to remove and replace all affected joinery, wall lining, doors tiles and replace as quick as possible to get the residence back in their homes. Our management team worked around the clock to ensure to accommodate relocated residence.
Sawtell catholic care of the aged
With over 200 dwellings damaged resulting from the 2014 hail storm RPF were engaged by catholic church insurance and completed $1.4 million in repairs to tiled roofs, span line patio roofs and water damage to internal ceiling and wall linings. These repairs that took place included residential dwellings, church, chapel, community hall, grounds care buildings and village management buildings. All dwellings were occupied throughout the entire repair process. RPF worked seamlessly along side dwelling owners / occupants, village management and the catholic church to see a quick and hassle-free repair process. Repairs were successfully completed with nothing but praise from the village for the team’s onsite manner and dedication to minimizing impact of the day to day living in the village.
Cumberland Gardens is currently in the final design stage. This village will be based in Newcastle, and will offer approximately 60 villas.
This project will commence early 2020.
